Hi, I’m Jess!

I'm the Registered Dietitian behind @hangryjessie, and I'm all about making nutrition feel simple, sustainable, and actually fun. Around here, you'll find easy (and delicious!) recipes, lifestyle tips, and a real-life approach to balanced living — because wellness doesn’t need to be perfect to be powerful.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh and my Master’s from Meredith College, where I also completed 1200+ hours of supervised experiential learning across a range of settings — from clinical to community, foodservice to sports, and even functional private practice. All of those experiences shaped the way I approach nutrition today: with flexibility, compassion, and a deep belief that consistency > perfection.

When I’m not in the kitchen or chatting about all things food and wellness, you can probably find me reading a good book, on a run with my Strava crew, or doing a feel-good Pilates flow.

I created this space to share recipes, simplify healthy habits, and remind you that little changes really do stick. Let’s make balanced living feel easy — and delicious 💛
